![]() ![]() 2016-02-18 23:36 | Turn10 and GM should be ashamed of themselves for doing this... |
![]() ![]() 2016-02-18 21:21 | WHAT?! Thats gotta be a mistake.... Why would they take away a vital part of nearly all old GM cars in Forza? I wonder what the real reason is, i mean nobody's gonna fall for the 'global naming' bullshit. Well I guess the next step for GM is to ask owners of SS-Models to take the badge off their cars... -- Last edit: 2016-02-18 21:30:03 |
![]() 2016-02-18 21:07 | Horizon 2 was set in part of France as well. |
![]() ![]() 2016-02-18 18:10 | So there must be someone complaining about SS logo, no point removing it with no real reason. |
![]() ![]() 2016-02-18 17:01 | J-2 a écrit Also, not only Chevys are affected. All GM cars with a "SS" on it, are. Take the Holden SS Commodore Group A. The rear decal with the SS Group A logo is gone. Some other non-Chevy cars are on the list too but I can't recall all of them. So aussie-based Chevrolet SS has its logos gone too? |

![]() ![]() 2016-02-16 23:12 | AutoTracker a écrit That's weird. In Horizon 2, set in Europe, the SS badges remain. And Chevy didn't complain. ![]() I suppose they only change it on recent games |
![]() ![]() 2016-02-16 22:55 | JFK a écrit Well it is mostly a badge + penformance tweaks. I dont see it as a big deal for that big game, since Camaro is already modelled. For a new game I would expect Turn10 to laser scan (or what ever they're doing) a real Z/28 and rework the model plus recording the engine noise of course. Honestly if every car from FM6 would be converted into the new game, doing a few new models wouldn't hurt anyone -- Last edit: 2016-02-16 23:06:09 |
![]() 2016-02-16 22:14 | As for the Chevelle, I don't really see a proper replacement, so unfortunately, possibly this is the end of the line for the Chevelle. ![]() |
![]() 2016-02-16 22:11 | Well think about. If they were to use this Camaro model, they'd have to remodel the front fascia entirely as well as giving it a cowled hood. It'd be better off using the already existing Camaro Z/28 model instead of putting more work and effort into a remodel of this. They've done it before too. ![]() |
![]() ![]() 2016-02-16 22:02 | AutoTracker a écrit Problem is, they'll have to go back to FM4 to get that car. But never say never. They brought a car from FM3 into this game... ![]() 2016-02-16 21:54 | Zordid a écrit Honestly if Chevy doesn't like their classic cars as they are thats their problem not Turn10's and certainly not ours... Hopefully Turn10 at least has the courtesy of switching to the Z/28 for the next game. igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=40336 Problem is, they'll have to go back to FM4 to get that car. But never say never. ![]() 2016-02-16 21:48 | J-2 a écrit As I said on the Chevelle page, Chevrolet asked Turn 10 to remove them for some weird global naming reasons. Official info BTW. That's weird. In Horizon 2, set in Europe, the SS badges remain. And Chevy didn't complain. ![]() |

![]() ![]() 2016-02-16 17:37 | Zordid a écrit I have the weird feeling it could have something to do with the history of Germany.... although that would be stupid, i can't think of another reason I was thinking the same thing, well but people from GM should think about the name before releasing the car to sales |
![]() ![]() 2016-02-16 16:27 | I don't get it, I mean it's part of Chevys history so why are they suddently ditching the ss on OLD cars (specialy since they're still using it)? I have the weird feeling it could have something to do with the history of Germany.... although that would be stupid, i can't think of another reason It's not the same without that badge, the camaro now looks like a replica -- Last edit: 2016-02-16 16:47:03 |

![]() 2016-02-16 04:13 | A modeling error? It can't be, since this is likely reused from Horizon 2: igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=67938 |
