This is clearly a mk1 golf,as it is referred to in the multiplayer map editor as a "German Hatchback". Furthermore in the Survival guide its mentioned that it was built in South Africa which the Yugo was not.

With circular headlights and similar body shape as a Styrus, I think this can be classified as a Mk1 Golf.
