![]() wezymh photo_librarymode_comment 2023-09-19 19:59 | this car is a reminder that rockstar borderline duplicating car designs isn't anything new |
![]() ![]() 2018-04-12 18:35 | High performance compact car for the kind of person who drifts around corners with a baby seat in the back. Recently discontinued, so may be worth waiting a decade or so for it to become ironic cool. |

![]() ![]() 2015-01-31 21:58 | Burn Rubber wrote Hey, Can the orange penumbra owned by Hao be classified as a separate vehicle, or is it a variant? It can be obtained. I think not, since normal Penumbra is (at least I hope, I am waiting for PC release, never played GTA V) tuneable in LSC to look like Hao´s one. |
![]() 2013-10-31 21:43 | Rear badge reads 'Turbo 2.6-24'. Turbocharged, 2.6L engine, 24 valves. Closest engine by displacement between both the Eclipse and TT is the 2.5L I-5 under the hood of the TT-RS, which is also turbocharged. The TT, though, has never had a 24 valve engine. The fourth-generation Eclipse, on the other hand, did. The 24V 6G75 V6 in the GT. -- Last edit: 2013-10-31 21:43:43 |
![]() 2013-09-27 19:05 | This car is "Mitsubishi Eclipse SE" from the year 2012, no 2006 ![]() |
![]() 2013-09-12 18:08 | Very clever name. Penumbra is essentially what causes a partial lunar eclipse, hence the connection between this car's name and the real Mitsubishi model. |
![]() ![]() 2013-09-12 17:56 | In-game name: Penumbra |
![]() ![]() 2013-05-05 17:57 | J-2 wrote The only GTA game to have random numberplates until now was San Andreas, IV lost that for some reason, and based on beta pics, we were supposed to get that (cars in the beta had a plate, but empty, without numbers or letters) and I'm thankful they're back, it adds a lot of realism, and since you can customize them (along with the entire car), it makes every car you own feel like it's really yours. It seems like R* is borrowing some of its vehicle mechanics from Midnight Club: LA, which would be amazing if it is true. -- Last edit: 2013-05-05 18:31:27 |

2013-05-05 13:08 | hamisxa wrote And well we get normal Liscence plates. No more plates saying LIBERTY CITY or SAN ANDREAS. Thank god it will be so much better. Yeah, it was so weird seeing every car having the same vanity license plate that would only really fit on Police or government vehicles. Even the "LC R29" from GTA3 would've been better. |

![]() 2013-05-04 10:07 | I looked again and the writing on the bumper may spell Maibatsu in fact. |
![]() ![]() 2013-05-04 00:24 | car-dude44 wrote Looking closely and counting the letters, it appears to spell out Maibatsu. It might be an Alpha if that does in fact say Maibatsu, but you might be right about it being a different name. Too blurry to tell for sure. The emblem itself already shows that it's a Maibatsu, it's pointless to have the emblem, and then they manufacturer's name on the rear of the car, ESPECIALLY, since the emblem has the marque name under it as well, as noted by Andra's post. |
![]() 2013-05-03 23:09 | Tycek wrote Have you even read my post. Name can be seen on the bumper. It's too blurry to be read completely, but it's definitely not Alpha. ![]() 2013-05-03 16:38 | Don't put the Alpha into fictional car name... it could be another new Maibatsu car... |
![]() 2013-05-03 16:36 | Alpha alpha alpha alpha !!! |
![]() 2013-05-03 16:30 | well it could be... |
![]() ![]() 2013-05-03 16:17 | New Alpha? It's based on what's basically a Mitsubishi 3000GT. |

![]() 2013-05-02 21:32 | Whatever it is, the manufacturer is Maibatsu (maker of the GTA IV renditions of the Sanchez, Vincent, and Mule). License plate, taillights, CHMSL, bumper, and badging arrangement are quite Audi TT-like. -- Last edit: 2013-05-02 21:32:51 |
