PD really have a problem. Forza's car list have almost all the cars GT5 should had from the beggining, all they are all "premium" models...now, they only have like 200 premium models in GT5, so if they want to keep up with a future FM5, they have to erase all standard cars, and make a good bunch of them premium (not all standards are necessary...) and also, add a lot of missing cars that Forza have, but since GT5 was released that late, i'm sure GT6 will be made for PS4 (Unless they make a GT6 Prologue for PS3 or something like that) and that means making a new game for a new console, which will take time...

In resume, they really need to hire more people, or use external modelling companies, like Turn 10 does. Unless they do that, they're really screwed.

One thing's for sure, PD need to hire more people if it takes a year to release new cars (and by new I mean something else than a another R35)... :p

From a Famitsu interview from December 2010:

"Are there cars you regret not including due to limited development time?

Yamauchi: yes, there are many. For example the Volkswagen Scirocco didn't get included just by a small margin. Regarding race cars, an example is the Jaguar XJR9; I also feel mortified that the Ferrari 365GTB/4 (Ferrari Daytona) which was even in pamphlet photos wasn't included."

Since the Scirocco finally made it in (after a year), perhaps the Ferrari will come, too. I hope so.
