Would you prefer me to present this in a visual format?

About this jeep - man, it's just a game mix. Front grill as maked from photo of WWII Willys MB, seats, wheels and light brackets taken from J50 and you can't ignore it. windscreen and small boxes on bonnet taken from M38. But in general this car more resembles J50 than M38.

I hate to steal your thunder, but there are several features that prove this is an M38:
Firstly, the headlights on this jeep are much larger than those on the Mitsubishi, and fit the size of the M38.
Then there are the front fenders - on the Mitsubishi they are bent in two places to give a small surface that is angled in front of the wheel, but on this vehicle and the M38, it is bent in only one place, leaving a horizontal edge.
The fuel filler cap is arched on this vehicle, which matches the M38, but is different to the Mitsubishi's rectangular cap.
This vehicle and the M38 have three rectangular shapes on the surface below the windscreen/front window. Although it's hard to notice in the photos above, the Mitsubishi only has one of these, and it is raised higher than on this vehicle and the M38 - carspics-db.com/data_images/models/mitsubishi-jeep/mitsubishi-jeep-03.jpg
Finally, there are two rectangular blocks on the front of the hood of this vehicle. The M38 is the only Jeep to have this feature (even the CJ-2 doesn't have these), which are obviously not present on the Mitsubishi.

Cool story bro :D

Honestly I'd say this is most like a Willys M38 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willys_M38

Seats, wheels and civil configuration says that it's no M38\\CJ-2.

What exactly makes it Mitsubishi and not CJ-7? Some details don't seem to fit.

Grill, body, seats, bonnet from J-50. CJ-7: trialx.com/curetalk/wp-content/blogs.dir/7/files/2013/03/cars/1985_Jeep_Cj-3.jpeg MJ J-50 you can see above. Just compare. Anyway, this is not Willys MB.

Yes, Jeep CJ-7.

Actually I find a Manual and photo. It's not original Jeep. It's a 1998 Mitsubishi Jeep J50:
