![]() ![]() 2011-03-24 11:26 | This is a 1979-81 Golf, not 1977, see the bumpers. The fender reflectors are like the ones of a 1975+ US Rabbit, but the bumpers are not the same. The 1979+ US Rabbits had the same bumpers, but with square headlights. I'd say this is a 1979 VW Golf I with reflectors added just to make it appear more American. |
![]() ![]() 2011-03-19 01:36 | The 1978-79 Rabbit had round headlights. www.productioncars.com/gallery.php?car=9628&make=Volkswagen&model=Rabbit I, personnally prefert the facelifted Mk1 Golf GTi's double round headlights. cult-cars.com/ |

![]() ![]() 2011-03-15 20:46 | Skid wrote I don't know why they call it a Rabbit, considering the bumpers and headlights seem to be from a Euro-spec Golf. If it had the square headlights, I'd probably buy it. I personally prefer the European Golf - square headlights don't really fit this car IMO... ![]() |
