2022-11-01 17:17 | Managed to find out what I could about this barge through a bit of Googling. Built by the Missouri Valley Bridge Co. for the US Navy in 1945, named YFNB 38. Adapted by Avondale Shipyards for NASA for the transportation of parts for the Saturn rockets in 1965, renamed Little Lake. Some time later, it was used to display a Concorde at the Intrepid Museum in New York (as shown in the game). The Concorde was later moved into its own space on the museum's pier, and I can't find any info on where the barge is nowadays. |
