I agree with Catalinaguy, there is no way it's a 1971 mustang. It's '67 or '68 Mustang.

Maybe an australian Falcon XB,it has the body shape of the mustang too and it has double headlights.

A Mustang doesn't have double headlights, and this "piece" in the center of the front is typical Pontiac.
So I think it looks more like a Pontiac:
