| Has anyone here considered that this might not be an Escort, but rather it's Mercury twin, the Lynx? It's got the slotted grille similar to early 80's models (though those were three and six slotted grilles, dependent on model). | |

OK, but it still resembles a 1978-1983 Plymouth Horizon more than a Ford Escort, especially the grill www.allpar.com/photos/plymouth/horizon/horizon.jpg I'm also going more for Horizon than Escort, because the rear end bulges out further on the Escort, almost being shaped like a sedan trunk www.greenhybrid.com/discuss/attachments/f9/1529d1282930819-1981-jet-electrica-ford-escort-electric-conversion-road-pict0638.jpg the rear on this one does not have that shape that the Escort does... So I'm going more for Horizon due to both that and the grill. | |
