Well this is the site that says a 92 Blazer/Jimmy/Explorer somehow looks like a 87 Jeep Wagoneer, so if that makes sense, so can this.

Nope, it's a 1961 Dodge Polara sedan. I don't see any Packard inspired elements on this car.

lol, no it wasn't directed at you. And I certainly don't know every car in the world, especially many Euro cars, and I've made mistakes myself of course. What I mean is MANY don't know how to properly id cars...I've seen many times where a car is called 69 Charger because that's the only muscle car they know, or any 50's car is a 57 Chevy. And even when someone does id a car properly it takes forever for it to be renamed, if it ever does.

Oh, okay. Sorry.

Is that supposed me or someone else on this website???? If no one knew about most cars and they are on this website, they would never be on this website. Everyone tries, okay? What, did you just agree with 58Roadmaster becuase he said something about General Motors? But if you are so arrogant and think you know everything about every car in the world, just give it a rest! :p

Trust me the longer you hang around this site the more frustrated and disappointed you will be. While many times it's harder to ID cars in video games than in movies, it seems most of the people on this site don't really know cars, and make assumptions and wild guesses...it's nothing like IMDB where most people know their stuff.

I propose that you identify the prototype car for which the majority of this example is similar. That means any 1961 Dodge or Plymouth (Dart, Polara, Fury, Savoy). I take a personal offense to naming this as a Buick by its front end only, while the artist was simply intending to recreate a generic General Motors front from the mid-1950s.

I agree, but it'll fall on deaf ears. Trust me the longer you hang around this site the more frustrated and disappointed you will be. Well who cares about the front anyway? Well, the front has a connection to the back of the Oceanic, while the back of it belongs to the Oceanic.

It's the back and the sides of the car that counts. The front might be taken from somewhere else, so I'll say it's a 1960's Dodge Dart.
