I also want to remind you that games are not only on consoles and therefore technical enhancements can still happen -- Last edit: 2020-08-16 16:31:26 |

It works with gross product growth not absolute resource optimization. Tldr : yearly release is for more money Just look at sports games like fifa or nba That’s a good perspective to view it, but maybe not at this current times, I mean it’s obvious once you reach graphics capacity limit, there is Almost nothing else you could improve on, except features and more content, which is why I think that yearly release will lose its value Soon, it won’t be as valuable like before, and I’m sure once more people realize this greedy practice and gets rid of it, then they will probably ask to keep a one game that will receive future updates, which could cause lower sells to the yearly release games, and that could lead to bankrupt to some companies -- Last edit: 2020-08-16 08:09:30 |

2020-08-15 23:28 | The last F1 game I played was 2016, other than that I skipped the rest, but I can agree that they are becoming greedy for trying to force a yearly release for F1 When almost everything is just the same and re-skinned But when it comes to other games, at least codemasters are taking their time, I personally enjoy the dirt series, I think they are doing good for dirt rally too,, I hope they won’t force a yearly wrc but there is still hope My only complaint about Codemasters is how they messed up with The past Grid games, nothing was able to outclass the original Grid Think about it this way, consoles especially when it comes to graphics have already reached their limit, imo what future games needs now is a more time (2-3 years) or they could go with the one game that keeps receiving updates every now and then, what else could be improved in terms of graphics? Almost nothing |

2020-08-15 18:17 | MBR wrote They aren’t even trying, there is almost no major difference between WRC6 to WRC9, it’s basically the fifa of racing games The last WRC i've played was 2012th WRC3. I can tell you, there's not much difference between those games. Bring the "surprise mechanics" to WRC and you'll indeed have a racing Fifa. |
