"APB (All Points Bulletin) is an upcoming massively multiplayer online video game for Microsoft Windows based in urban sprawls and featuring two sides, Enforcement and the Criminals. Players may join either the Enforcers or the Criminals, and form sub-groups in these. The game design is led by David Jones, creator of the original Grand Theft Auto and Crackdown, and is being developed by Realtime Worlds." - from Wikipedia

Sounds pretty good, although judging by the description, it seems to be solely focused on the online multiplayer aspect (not really a bad thing, though).

Looks good. I've always said there should be a cops vs criminals multiplayer in the style of GTA.

Update: APB has been canceled, and will be available as a free play game called APB: Reloaded.

Sandie SX (0)

It was actually released I think but the company who produced it went bankrupt as the game was a flop.

Yeah. Gamers First bought it and it is now called APB: reloaded and is free to play. I downloaded it, but when I went to play it said I didn't have the right video card.

MMO, Massive Multiplayer Online game, it's essentially a Cops vs Criminals concept, plot-wise, The city of San Paro is being overrun by crime, and official authorities are having trouble keeping things in order, so the mayor launches some program called "City Security Act" that anyone who wanted to fight crime is allowed to join the Enforcers, which are more or less a bit like vigilante/police group, against the Criminals, and the missions or jobs is various things to either keep the city in order and fight off the Criminals, if you're an Enforcer, or cause chaos and shit if you're a Criminal.

I've played the game back when it was a closed beta, and played a bit once it came out publicly, but haven't played since, there's no real "plot" as far as I recall, but yeah, typical MMO game.

You forgot to mention that it has a terrible pay to win system. You can buy OP guns and cars with money, and you can't get them without paying.

As a quick note, this is also available on Xbox One, and will be soon on PS4. (The current estimated PS4 release is in September.)

The Xbox 360, and PS3 tags need to be removed, and be replaced with the Xbox One, and PS4 tags.

Adding some placeholder screenshots for some cars to help with Identity, and until the PS4 release, in which I will upload screenshots from there. :)

If they are low quality, or hard to see, please excuse them. Again, they are placeholders.

Rear shots to most of the cars, and a bank truck, an ambulance, and a few more to come. Again, I'm submitting placeholders until the soon release of the PS4 version.
