The only valid reason I'm accepting for why there is not a sequel yet, is because Capcom is putting so much into the sequel, that it has taken them 8 years to add it.........anything else is INEXCUSABLE!

It should be completed now. I filled in missing unplayable van :)

Looks like a cel-shaded version of Gran Turismo 3 to me.

I love the anime style graphics of this game, but unfortunately I found the career mode and the driving model quite lackluster...

No. Keep in mind that there are another hundred of cel-shaded games out there.

GT Cube, for example.

Guys, don't mix up game engines with shaders here. Drift City is using Gamebryo/Net Immerse game engine, while Auto Modellista is using custom engine developed by Capcom. And yes, GT Cube is one good example of cel-shaded game :)

I'm adding the locations now.
BTW, quite mad that the NTSC version had extra American cars, but it must always be that PAL loses the most.

Is Hyundai in the PAL version?

Nope

Hyundai is available in US Tuned version only which wasn't released in Europe.

those graphics are ugly imo, like Jet Set Radio did a good job with that art style but this game didn't

This game looks amazing. The art style is so cool, don't know why, but for some reason it reminds me of Initial D for some reason.

It was a really good game on the PS2, wish they had some more American stuff like the Gran Torino.

See, I wish that there was LESS American stuff in this game. It really felt like a good Japan Cars-Only game IMHO.

Actually American and Japanese cars are well-represented in racing games. It's the European cars that are always left out. Sure, they put the mainstream Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche (RUF) cars in everything, and German cars are rather common. But on the other hand a lot of classic jewels and interesting, more modern cars are ignored. AFAIK, only Forza seems to properly represent the European market.

Unless you're Need for Speed, then you either have various European cars or an underwhelming car list consisting of Japanese, German and Italian cars and a few others...

I thought Gran Turismo 4 evened it it fairly well. A decent amount from all major coutries, let us not forget JAPAN. I don't u derstand why video game companies have a tendency to include more cars from their country.
