Interstate 82 was the sequel to the car combat success Interstate 76, and took the same premise taking it forward to 1982. Once again, the car selection reflects the chosen era, whilst bringing back many from the previous game in updated models. Whilst it added some new features such as the ability to exit each vehicle, the game was met poorly due to its lackluster graphics and simplification of combat features, such as armour, as well as the introduction of more outlandish weapons.

This game is similar at "Vigilante 8".

Nice game but the cars' names sound like furniture packages from a discount store.

Is this a prequel to Vigilante 8?

Vigilante 8 was spin-off from the interstate series made exclusively for consoles. Interstate was PC game.

Song of the intro: DEVO - Modern Life :king:

BTW I don´t think this is the original video, but it is very cool! There is at least one other song of DEVO in Interstate 82!

This game is great!
BTW-I'm curious about that big car that chases Groove in intro-most likely it's a 1965 Imperial 2 door variant (body shape, overall size) with 62 style grille and redesign headlights (65 Pontiac GTO style).
It should be listed here too.
Great shame it's not a playable car though.
