USA Racer is the sequel to London Racer and Europe Racer and, in true Davilex tradition, is equally irrelevant, with the now trademark rubbish graphics, woeful vehicle handling and uninspired gameplay. Moving the setting to the USA didn't to the series much good, as we have the same generic vehicles and flaws on offer as before. The only notable novel difference, apart from the location, that I can gather is the inclusion of radio stations, that evidently wasn't borrowed from GTA.

As a further note, I had quite a hard time getting this mess to even run properly. For the majority of the time, the game was a glitchy spectacle, more often than not looking something like this:

Trying it on my older PC didn't work either, as the game wouldn't even start up  Diligent programming at its best.

I heard that in the US it is known as "US Racer" and over here it is "USA Racer".

I know, right. I bought it and played it and it's really crappy

Also, the police cars are drivable in Multiplayer (Split Screen) mode.

I would like to provide screenshots from the PC version, because mostly of the cars were looking better ;)

Somehow that wasn't the image that I posted, it changed.

This is what was talking about before:

That Police Chase cover reminds me a lot of Europe Racer`s one. Take a look:

You cant compare, because US Racer is from the Gamebryo engine games by Davilex, while Europe Racer is Davilex's best game ever made.

Um, I guess you made me change my point, but you right. TBH Europe Racer is my favorite PC game (If you want to make any joke with me then go ahead). Too bad I lost the CD.

I used to have this game, if I remember correctly every car had three variants that you unlocked by progressing in the career. Maybe it would be worth it to list them here, but the game is extremely bad and I don't want to play it ever again. :p

It would have made more sense if all console versions of USA Racer were released in North America since it's all-American, technically speaking. Other racing games that did have North American releases entirely (or partially), like Test Drive 6, do have several American locations, but this one, in my opinion, is very versatile as it had a lot of famous American cities to race at, which is why I, as an American gamer myself, consider it a masterpiece. But since Davilex, the company that developed this game, is a Dutch video game developer, I've been speculating in my comments on other people's gameplay videos of this game on YouTube that not all European video game developers can afford to have games and /or certain versions of them released in other continents. Oh well, at least the PC version of did had a North American release. Speaking of which, I remember playing a North American PC re-release of it called "Police Chase." It was great fun!

To add to the comments posted about the 2004 North American PC re-release, Police Chase, here is the title card for it:
