Before the Ford Racing series, Ford were responsible for the distribution of a series of Ford Simulator games, designed to advertise current model lineups of the brand which in this case showcased the range of Fords found in 1987. Consequently, there is a lack of any real game content apart from the option fo take each car for a test drive and take part in a selection of mini games. The game also certainly shows its age, with its primitive graphics and even worse sound effects - the sound of the engine being depicted through a retro beeping noise was the source of much humour for a shamefully glorified advertisement.

...and the cars look like they are in different scales here....surely the Festiva wasn't that small?

This was definetily no racing game. Just a simulator. It was very difficult to overtake any car because traffic was dense.

Wouldn't a test drive have been a better idea for experiencing a new Ford rather than playing these silly old games?

Heh, it is that small. Honestly I could fit one in the back of my truck. Makes my Tempo look like a LTD limousine.

Do you remember the Kia Pride? That's what the Festiva was, with a Ford badge.

Not to mention the Taurus is larger than the bronco, and the Tracer that supposedly shares platforms with it.
