Super Chase: Criminal Termination was the third and final entry in the official Chase HQ series, thus completing the trilogy. Unlike Special Criminal Investigation, Criminal Termination represented a step forward in the series. Unlike its predecessor, it boasted significantly revamped graphics and an impressive new in car driving view. Whilst the fundemental premise stayed the same (although the shooting mechanic introduced in Special Criminal Investigation was curiously omitted), the inclusion of this new view made the experience far more immersive. Damage was also introduced, with the cars you were pursuing reacting more realistically to your persistent ramming, and the game was also situated in real world locations such as New York and San FranCisco, resulting in the roads look less like race tracks like before. Overall, Criminal Termination was a worthy send off to the Chase HQ series, and mercifully even reprised the original Porsche 928, along with a Jeep Wrangler and a truck, as the protagonist's vehicle of choice.
