Usually, in a ported PSP to PS2 game all they do is improve the graphics sound etc. However, in Twisted Metal Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition, they did much MUCH more. Of course, this game does include an upgraded version of TM: Head On. They also included an on foot mode where you walk around as Sweet Tooth collecting various factoids (the drawings on this page are from these factoids) The on foot section was meant to be a mode in Twisted Metal Black II, where players would play as either Preacher or Sweet Tooth. Also included are 4 levels from Twisted Metal: Harbor City/Black II. This basically includes most of the characters from TM: Black, plus 2 new characters. Finally there is also a 30 minute interview with Twisted Metal creator David Jaffe about the Twisted Metal series. The gameplay in both HO and Harbor City is great, and even-though the on foot section is very rough, it is still usable and there are very few glitches. This game is really a great value.

A HUGE thank you to windyshrimp and Takumi for their work on the PSP version of Twisted Metal Head-On, it saved me a great deal of research.

I still need to unlock Crimson Fury and Mr. Slam so I can take captures of those, but other than that, this page is complete. (I never saw the Ford E-Series or the Chevrolet Blazer traffic vehicles, maybe they were taken out of the port for some reason?)

I remember this! I was playing it on my dad´s PSP when we were heading to a Kraftwerk concert at the Coachella grounds. The Checker Marathon made me remember. And in the intro Sweet Tooth is working under a car and then suddenly he looks at you! Oh the memories... :)
