The latest Playstation Network title for the PS3 is certainly bizarre - the only way to describe it is that of Micro Machines meets Capture The Flag, only replace the flags with cartoon criminals. The resulting frantic gameplay makes for one of the best online experiences the PS3 has seen so far, with the rugby esque tactical gameplay never failing to appeal. Except of course it is far more exciting and enjoyable than rugby could ever be. The presentation also really stands out, with the visuals baring a resemblance to Saturday morning cartoons, coupled with a suitingly Irish announcer. Put simply, Calling All Cars is a game brimming with outright character, and certainly should not be missed with its budget price tag. It's just a shame that with just 4 maps and somewhat limited gameplay modes, the game doesn't quite reach classic status. Having said that, it is undoubtably one of the biggest laughs I've had for a long time, and is perfect and ideal for party gaming. Too much play from this, and of course the frustration factor, can also lead to you not only talking like an Irishman, but swearing like an Irishman too...
