I wonder how those cars would look in-game (I mean, not the photograph kind that you see in the car selection).

Just kidding!
In this game you move through a big city. When you start you are a pedestrian, so you can´t walk very long in one game turn. When you buy (or steal a car) you can move further, so cars are only for personal transportation in this game. On the game map every car looks exactly the same. The screenshots are all from the players statistics screen, which is the only place where you can see which car you currently own.

Like already mentioned before in this game the cars serve as transportation device. Here is how useful they are in-game depending on how far you can go with them during one turn (using their in-game names):
