I've seen more cars on some maps, but dunno if these maps are original or fan made ones approved by Valve

Oh. That sucks. I thought you meant your disc was broken. Sorry, can't help you then :(

There's Sniper's camper Land Rover, a late 40's Buick, a tractor and probably more missing. It just comes down to seeing if the maps they're on are offically approved by Valve.

First question, I attempted to get the game from Steam, but download files weigh 11 gigabytes?! Is there a problem?

Second question, how could i find the other vehicles in that game (bus, tractor, Mercury Coupe and Minor ambulance)?

SizSkiizd CA (68)

2012-10-15 23:14

1) Yes, it's quite a heavy game. The content and materials folders are the biggest, containing 5 and 4 gigs, respectively. Unofficial downloads are probably smaller in size, but that also means a lot of textures and other stuff will be missing from the game. For example, a friend of mine downloaded COD: MOW illegaly, and most of the textures were scale black. His file was smaller than mine.

2) Like I said, I don't play the game so I'm not sure where to find them. I actually cheated in order to access the vehicles easier and provide better shots (without HUD and all that), and took the shots via Garry's Mod. So yes, these are screenshots from Garry's Mod, not TF2. They're still screenshots of the vehicles in TF2 in TF2 locations (maps). About the locations of the vehicles, I skipped searching all the maps to find the vehicles in "their natural habitat", and spawned them in Gmod instead. I then positioned them with the Physgun and took the pictures using the ingame camera. I thought all the vehicles would be listed in the "vehicles" folder, but boy, was I wrong. I then went through all the files. I can't remember where I found the 1940s car (it's named as such in the files), but I found the bus in a folder called "Soho", the tractor in a folder called "Manor" and the Minor (not Manor) ambulance in the first folder that showed up.

Cp_snowplow has a drawing of a blue spy running over a red scout in a car. wiki.teamfortress.com/w/images/d/df/Snowplow_spy_drawing.png?t=20150705194543 does this car deserve a page?

carcrasher88 US (23)

I'd imagine it could be, but it would have to be an actual in-game screenshot and not just a texture, which that clearly is.

Find it on the actual map and then get a shot of it, then it would be worth listing.

As for the car, it's pretty clear that it's a '57 Ford Thunderbird with some light alteration.

Location in cp_snowplow where the drawing of the '57 Thunderbird running over a Scout is located: Stage 2 Blu Spawn Room in a wooden locker according to TF2 Wiki.

Well, in one "mini-film" to promote TF2, "Expiration Date", there was a scene where the Spy reads the death wishes of the red team and a drawing of a spy being ran over by a car (probably a 1969 Dodge Charger) seen.

As of today, the entire contents of The Orange Box (TF2, Portal, Half Life 2 plus Episode One and Episode Two) are backwards compatible on Xbox One. Could someone add the Xbox One to the platforms on this page, along with HL2?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but being backwards compatible with a console is not the same as being released on a console. By your logic, every PS1 game should be listed as available on the PS2 and PS3 by default.

carcrasher88 US (23)

2016-10-20 22:51

Not the same concept, because with the XB1, all backwards compatible titles have to be downloaded and installed to the hard drive.

You also don't have to own the disc for the Xbox 360 game to get it, if you've already bought it digitally on the Xbox 360, it'll be available for download on the Xbox One, or you can buy it from Xbox.com and then it'll be made available for download.

The only thing you can't do is buy it from the Xbox Store on the console (though, if it later becomes a Games with Gold title, it will be available there).

So, not the same.

But still. We add the console lists for the platforms they were released on, even if slightly delayed. Backwards compatibility is a whole 'nother thing.

If the game was SOLD as a XB1 game then it should count. The whole "PS1 on PS2" thing is a different story. That is backwards compatibility. If it was labed and sold as an Xbox One game, the. It should be listed as one.

I'm pretty sure the Xbox One just emulates the 360 to play backwards compatible games, too.
