Finally got the chance to play this game :)

I was very surprised to see that some DPL cars were re-used in the intro!

Obviously yes. Dont let the information at Gamespot mislead you - it is wrong. This game uses engine built by Reflections which was also used in a few games by them for the Wii aswell.

I don't think the intro vehicles should be named as they were in DPL. There's no reason to do so, unless they are named in the intro or game.
