Why are all the Vipers listed as Chryslers?? :??: Dodge makes the Viper, not Chrysler. Right?

Rinspeed FR (1247)

2006-10-24 20:39

in France the first Viper are licenced Chrysler because there aren't Dodge in the 90's here. So the race car are also Chrysler see this: www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=2021 and this www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=636

Yes, it was Chrysler, until now:
Quote The third generation Viper has been sold in Europe since 2004, the first model to be sold as a Dodge, as part of Chrysler's new sales strategy for the European market.

Just curious, are any of you IGCD'ers going to watch the 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend (11-12th)? I watched the race last year for the first time in my life (slept only a few hours in the night), and I wouldn't miss this year's race for the world! :D

I'll definitely watch it, but it will probably be similar to when I watched this years 24 Hours of Daytona...fall asleep at around 10 pm, wake up around 8 and watch until the end. But, yeah, I'm definitely watching it.

Anyone else here see the 2 Audi R18 crashes in this year's race? Thankfully both Allan McNish and Mike Rockenfeller are both ok. It's all down to the #2 R18. They better watch out for the Peugeots.

I actually was in front of the TV when this bloody crash happened. Also, race still continuies, it`s huge battle between Audi and Peugeot for the title !

I actually fell asleep just a couple of hours before the finish, and missed it... :o Although I was hoping one of the Peugeots could pass the remaining Audi in the end, all kudos to the persistent Audi #2! :)

Quite funny, actually, this coming weekend in Sepang, 3rd round of Japanese Super GT series, Andre Lotterer and Benoît Tréluyer will be rivals again, Lotterer driving the TOM'S Lexus and Tréluyer the NISMO Nissan GT-R.

Wasn't the Dreamcast discontinued in 2001? That's what I remember.

carcrasher88 US (20)

2016-03-12 23:24

The console was discontinued in March of 2001, but official games continued being released afterwards, with the last official title being released in North America in 2002.

Also, this game should be listed as a 2000 title, as it's initial North American release as Test Drive Le Mans was on March 31, 2000.

The game's Wikipedia page has all of the game's various release dates on different consoles, PC, and different variants, with the last version released being the Japanese PS2 version (Japan only got the Dreamcast and PS2 versions) on June 13, 2002, following Europe's release of Le Mans 24 Hours on PC on May 14, 2002, and North America's release of Le Mans 24 Hours on PC on June 1, 2002.

Actually, I think this and that are two completely different games. For instance, the developers are different. Test Drive Le Mans has Eutechnyx as the developer, while this has Melbourne House. But this should actually be listed as a 2001 title, as the initial release on the PS2 in North America was August 13, 2001. Plus, isn't Test Drive Le Mans already listed?
